Parking Area Cleared

After excavating the top road parking space, which was extremely hard work digging through incredibly hard rock and required two very large diggers. We now have enough space up there for at least five cars, a double garage and a store room.
The added bonus of excavating this land is that we now have a lot of stone to be sorted out and got ready (over time) to build all the garden walls, terraces, barbecue area, walls of lower road and upper road parking spaces and finally the garage.
It is hard to see from this photo how big this parking plot is, which is at least 30 m long and 10m deep at the widest end.
Some more excavation work will need to be done to this plot in the future, which will make it even bigger, as we will need some more stone to build with.
