Excavating Parking Spaces

They are currently excavating the land I purchased on the upper road above the villa, which will be used for parking spaces. It has been extremely hard work, even with the large diggers we're using.

In Montenegro, construction work is prohibited during the summer tourist season to minimise disruption to visitors. The general rule is to halt all construction work from 1 June to 15 September.
The builders will need to find alternative work over the summer in their own country, Albania, and we may have to wait a while for them to become available again once construction is allowed to resume after the summer break.

The project had to be put of hold due to incorrect purchase registration details and a number of planning issues that needed to be resolved.
The good news is that we restarted again today, which is extremely exciting!
All the excavation work must be completed before construction of the villa can begin, and the building team have now begun digging out the pool.

Milovici Move to Zabrdje

Now all the stonework at Milovići is completed, we decided to move our highly skilled stonemasons to Zabrdje rather than lose them.
