I've finally received a date for my knee surgery. I'll be having simultaneous bilateral patellofemoral (kneecap articular cartilage) replacement using Mako Partial Knee robotic-assisted surgery on Thursday, 20th June 2024 at UCLH.
I'm a bit nervous, of course, but mostly I'm relieved and grateful to be getting my knee problems sorted out. I'm looking forward to being on the road to recovery and hopefully returning to a completely normal, active life again.
