The stonemasons will rebuild it to ensure it is structurally much stronger, capable of supporting the large stone sitting area I've designed.
Garage Looking Really good
They sit naturally within the landscape, as if it has always been there, which is exactly what I envisioned when designing them.
To put their scale into perspective: the wall is 33.5 meters long with a maximum height of 4.6 meters, while the garage and storage room are 10 meters wide and 4.2 meters high.
Construction Of Garage Roof
Over the past three days, the timber for the finished ceiling of the garage has been fitted onto the joists. Next comes the instruction of the roof membrane, followed by the insulation.
All that remains now is the lay the roof tiles and install the Velux window above the storage room.
Garage Walls Completed
All the stone walls of this garage have now been fully completed. The finished garage now measures 9.9 meters long x 6.5 meters wide and 4.6 meters high at the back wall.
Pruning Olive Trees
Bojan, an expert in olive trees, is performing hard pruning on the four olive trees, prepare them for uprooting and transportation from Ulcinj, near the Albanian border, to my villa on Luštica, approximately 108 km away.
Stefan & Vlado Celebrating
Stefan and Vlado are celebrating their official return to work now that all COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted.
This team of builders managed to continue working quite a bit during the pandemic in Montenegro, which wasn't the case in the UK.
