Glass Conservatory

The glass won't be installed in this conservatory until the very end of the project, just in case it gets damaged.
Vlado has kindly built this conservatory for me himself, as I found it impossible to get anything close to what I wanted here in Montenegro. I could have sourced one elsewhere in Europe, but the budget for this part of the project wouldn't allow such a large expense.
It has been a long project, and at every stage, I've had to set a maximum amount I'm willing to spend on each area. Budgeting is crucial to the success of any project.

Pool Construction

At the far end of the pool, next to the deep end, there will be an underground technical room to house all the equipment needed for the saltwater system.
Once completed, the pool will be 10 meters long and 4 meters wide.

Real Stone Floor

Vlado, Stefan, and I stopped to admire the view over the Bay for Kotor as we drove on the Nikšić road, searching for an alternative to the real stone we're using at Zabrdje for all the ground floor flooring.
The Quarry in Kotor is having serious problems producing the 80 x 80 x 2 cm stone tiles I have specified, due to an unexpected fault with their machinery. As a result, fulfilling my order is taking much longer than anticipated.
Despite our efforts, we were unable to find anything as beautiful or as perfect for Zabrdje house as the stone from the Kotor quarry.
We'll have to wait for the quarry to produce what we need, which will unfortunately delay progress for a while.

Hallway

The underfloor heating has been completed and installed beneath the concrete floor in the hall and is now waiting for the 80 x 80 cm locally sourced stone tiles, to be laid on top.
Window Sills Finished

The only thing left to complete the windows, is to apply the concrete around them, ensuring they sit flush with the wall.
