A large very well respected Egyptian development company Orascom Development Holdings (ODM) has recently purchased a 90% share in Luštica Development, a company started by the Montenegrin government in order to develop a particular area of Luštica called Trašte Bay.
Orascom intends to build an eco-friendly high-class hotel resort with a golf course, 3 marinas, hospitals, schools and lots of shops. Though it will give a lot of work to the local community I do hope it will not destroy it at the same time, hence my reluctance to start work now.
Orascom has 15 years of experience building resort towns and creating self-sufficient communities.
