The biggest shock when I took my two children to Blue Horizons Beach (Plavi Horizonti Plaža) and saw that Hotel Blue Horizons (Hotel Plavi Horizonti), a large and once-busy hotel, had been completely flattened since our last visit.
Over the years, there have been countless rumours about various companies purchasing the site, but none of those plans have ever materialised. I just hope that whoever eventually develops this site will still allow local people to enjoy this beautiful beach.
We'll have to wait and see what happens next.
